More cow and cow juice, please!

I was just via email recalling with Anne foods that we used to eat when we were teenagers that we would not eat now, like frozen turkey pot pies and Campbell’s sodium-laden canned soups. I had a sudden remembrance of what I used to eat every day in the tenth grade. Ready? For breakfast, one glass of milk with Carnation Instant Breakfast powder stirred in. For lunch, I would walk the mile home, microwave a hamburger patty (no bun because I wasn’t fond of white bread at any time in my life but that’s all there was in the mid-80’s in Ohio), put on some ketchup & mustard, eat it, and walk back to school. For dinner, whatever my mom made, usually a very balanced meal with a salad. But that’s it! Some chocolate milk masquerading as nutrition and 5 ounces of ground beef for the entire school day. And it wasn’t related to any diet, it’s just what I ate. Unbelievable.

What about all of you, what did you used to subsist on as a clueless teen?
