If it weren’t for the Computer Age . . .
I would not have just now been able to tell Barrett, calling from his cell phone in Barcelona, Spain, what the second line in the first stanza of the song “Detroit Rock City” by Kiss was, so Kinski could nail it when they cover it at the show they are about to play at the Primavera Music Festival. Indeed. (As Anne would say.)

I’m confused. I thought B couldn’t go on the tour because his work wouldn’t let him off. Esplain, por favor!
Barrett can now only take off days that he has available to him via his vacation days. He can’t take any “leave no pay” anymore, as he’s been doing for the past six years. Our Ireland vacation would’ve been leave no pay vacation for him; ergo, he (and thus, we) could not go to Ireland following his four days in Barcelona.
Ah, got it! :}
That’s pretty awesome! Also - they’re covering Kiss songs? My twelve-year-old self would’ve been disgusted; my then nine-year old brother would have loved it!
Indeed.
“Stanza”?
Sounds awful high-falutin’ for a Kiss song, but yer the word nerd.
Heh-heh! Word nerd… crack myself up.
